Thank you for choosing ReYoga headphones!

Headphones are the best way to practice while isolating yourself almost completely from noisy or chaotic settings, or to more easily reach class participants with your voice in wide open spaces.

ReYoga headphones are designed specifically for yoga practice and put ergonomics and ease of use first, and come with as many as 10 different channels to avoid unpleasant interference with other headphones or systems that might be in the same area.

In this guide, we will provide you with all the guidance you need to operate the tools provided to you correctly: you will find the usage guides for each tool by clicking on the tables below.

We recommend that you always keep this guide handy so that you can promptly resolve any issues whenever they arise.

Happy reading!

Our headphones are designed to be used by anyone simply and intuitively.
They have, 10 different channels on different frequencies, as do the transmitters, so they can be used with multiple audio sources, perhaps from multiple transmitters, or more simply to avoid interference with other nearby audio equipment using similar frequencies.

For your knowledge, the frequencies used by each channel are given in the “Frequency List” table at the end of this guide.

How are they made

Both left and right earphones have a transparent cover under which colored Led lights are installed: each color corresponds to a different transmission frequency.

On the right earphone is a set of functional indicators and controls: An operation LED, light management button, power/channel selection button, volume adjustment wheel, and USB-C port for charging the headset.

Power on

Hold the Power/Channel Select button to turn the headphones on.
After a few seconds, the operation LED will turn on and stay on:

  • if its color is green it means the headset is set in manual mode, meaning that individual frequencies must be selected manually by pressing the Power/Frequency Select button until the headset light turns the desired color
  • if its color is blue it means that the headset is set to automatic mode, meaning that the headset will automatically tune only to the frequencies from which it receives a signal at the time you press the power/frequency selection button

We recommend that you work in manual mode as it is easier for anyone to tune to the desired frequency, highlighted by a specific color.

Using the automatic mode, if there is interference in any of the frequencies used by the headset, it may be more difficult to select the desired frequency.

To change the operation mode from manual to automatic or vice versa:

  • Turn off the headset while holding down the power/frequency selection button.
  • Press the power/frequency selection button again and hold it down: the operation LED will light up the same color indicating the previous mode, but by continuing to hold down the power/frequency selection button without ever releasing it, at some point the operation LED will change color, activating the other mode.

Normally our headphones come with the manual mode set.

If you notice during power-up that the operation LED is blue instead of green, perform the above procedure so that the headphones all operate in the same mode.

Light Management

Pressing and holding the light management button will allow the headset to work in 3 different modes:

  • Light on: the headphone lights will always stay on in the color of the desired frequency
  • Equalizer: the headphone lights will turn on in the color of the desired frequency based on the volume peaks of the incoming audio
  • Light off: the headphone lights will not turn on (it may be more difficult to select the desired frequency)

To switch between modes, press and hold the light management button until the operation LED and headphone lights flash.

Volume Adjustment

There is a small wheel in each headphone that allows the user to adjust the volume of the headphones according to their needs.

We recommend that you equalize the incoming audio so that it can be heard well with the headphone volume in the middle way users can turn the volume down or up properly.
If equalization is done with the headphone volume at maximum, those who hear less would not be able to set the volume higher.
Conversely, if equalization is done with the headphone volume too low, those who hear the audio too high may not be able to turn it down properly.

Recharge

Your headphones may not be charged at the time you receive them.
For this reason, it is necessary to pre-charge all headphones with the appropriate chargers in the kit sent to you.

To recharge the headset, insert one of the USB-C sockets of the charger into the slot provided in the right earpiece: as soon as it is inserted, the operation LED will turn red to indicate charging is in progress, while at the end of charging it will turn green: if the headset should be turned on during connection, it will automatically turn off.

The average charging time is about 2-3 hours.

The battery life of the headphones is about 8 hours in continuous playback.

The wireless transmitter allows the headphones to be used in any environment, without the need to be powered from a power outlet.
The built-in battery lasts about 8 hours (in continuous transmission): ideal for lessons in parks, beaches, or any place where finding a power connection might prove difficult.

How is it made

There is a clip on the back side that allows the transmitter to be clipped to a belt, so it can be carried with you in case you need it.

During your Yoga practice, we recommend that you place the transmitter on the ground, close to your mat, as its weight and bulk could get in the way of your practice, and that you transmit the audio from your microphone through a wireless receiver (see the section on microphones).

If, on the other hand, you need to move around, such as for a meditation during a walk in the woods, then you can attach the transmitter to yourself by directly plugging the microphone into the microphone input.

On the right side, you will find the charging socket, which can be used with the provided charger, the CH button for channel selection, the BT button for Bluetooth configuration, and the thumbwheel for adjusting the microphone volume.

On the upper side, on the other hand, are the AUDIO (unamplified, for music) and MIC (for microphone, amplified via the adjustment wheel on the right side) inputs, the MUTE button to mute the microphone (useful when you don’t want anyone to hear you!), and the Frequency/Power Selector.

Finally, on the front, you will find a display highlighting the selected channel and some operating LEDs at some of the buttons we have just seen, which highlight:

  • MUTO: If the red LED is on, the microphone is transmitting to the headset.
By default, when turned on, it is off.
  • Power on: the red LED lights up when the transmitter is on
  • Bluetooth: LED flashes between red and blue when pairing with a device, flash red every 5 seconds when the connection is made and red every second if the connection is lost

Use

Slide the frequency/power switch to the letter H to turn on the transmitter
The power LED will light up, along with the display showing the frequency on which you are transmitting (see the table in the Frequency List section for details of frequencies).

To change frequencies, press the CH key until the display shows the number of the desired frequency.

At this point, insert the mini-jack cable from the microphone into the MIC connector and, after pressing the MUTE button, adjust the volume with the volume knob.

If you also wish to insert a background music track, connect your device (phone, computer, or other audio device) with the mini-jack cable provided and connect it to the transmitter by inserting it into the AUDIO connector, then adjust the volume directly from your device.

Not all smartphones have a mini-jack output: equip yourself by using an adapter (not included).

In addition to the headband microphone, you can also connect the receiver of a wireless microphone kit (as shown in the video) to the transmitter.
This will enable you to connect several microphones at the same time (in case there are several teachers in the same class).

Bluetooth connection

Should you not have an adapter for your smartphone or more simply do not want to connect too many cables to the transmitter, you can transmit music through a Bluetooth connection.

Remember: cable connection is still the most stable and secure type of connection!

To pair your device with the transmitter via Bluetooth for the first connection, follow these steps:

  • Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone or transmitting device.
  • After turning on the wireless transmitter, press and hold the BT button until the associated LED flashes alternating between a red and a blue light device is ready to be connected
  • On your device, search for new Bluetooth devices nearby and select “S10”
  • Done! Now the two devices are paired: the Bluetooth-related LED will flash red every 5 seconds, signifying that the device is connected.

If the connection should break down, the red LED related to the Bluetooth connection will blink at closer intervals of about 1 second, indicating that the Bluetooth is ready to be paired again (only with devices with which it was previously paired).

If the transmitter is turned off and on again, when the Bluetooth function is turned on it will automatically connect with the last device it was paired with.

At this point you will be able to send an audio track to the transmitter, adjusting its volume directly on your device (just as if it were connected via the AUDIO input)

Tips

Do the whole procedure of connecting the various input cables (microphone and audio) always with the volume at a minimum (by turning down the microphone volume knob or lowering the volume from the device).

Test first on a single headphone used by you and on a different frequency from that used by the practitioners that the whole device is working properly, so no one has to hear your general headphone tests!

Place the wireless transmitter, connected to the Plug&Go microphone receiver and possibly the music playback device, next to the mat. This way it won’t disturb your practice and you can keep it handy at all times!

Before you turn off the transmitter, move the transmission to another frequency, otherwise, everyone will hear an annoying shut-off noise!

The headband microphone is the ideal type of microphone for use during yoga practices, as it remains perfectly fixed even if the person wearing it is moving and, most importantly, it leaves your hands free!

Connect the headband microphone to the transmitter by plugging the cable into the connector on the top side of the transmitter, then get ready to wear it!

Start with the transmitter: attach the clip to your belt or the edge of your pants, then pass the microphone under your shirt, letting it come out of your neck, then put on the headband and adjust the microphone.

Now, while wearing a headset, adjust the volume of the microphone using the knob on the side of the transmitter.

Done. The microphone should already be working properly.
If you need to connect multiple microphones to the same transmitter, because there are two or more teachers at the same time teaching the class, or you simply find the wireless transmitter too bulky and uncomfortable to practice and would like to wear something smaller and lighter, you can resort to using an external wireless microphone to “cascade” onto the transmitter.

In this way, the microphone receiver will receive the signal from multiple microphones and feed it into the transmitter, which in turn will send it through headphones to all participants!

The connection will be as shown in the video below.

Which wireless microphone to buy?

To suggest an exact model is impossible, there are all kinds and prices!
On the most popular marketplaces, you will find them galore: some provide them with 2, 3, or even 4 microphones to be used contemporarily, some provide them with a charging case, some with a display showing the status of the microphones, and so on.

The only thing we ask you to consider while purchasing is the presence, on the microphones, of a 3.5mm jack input: this way you can connect the headband microphone, which will ensure higher audio quality for your students!
