Your answers:  DYNAMIC YOGA – COMFORT HEAVY SWEATING

Energy

Microfibre and Natural Rubber  – Thickness 4mm

The ENERGY yoga mat is ideal for those who practice a dynamic style, sweat a lot, and want to practice on a soft and comfortable mat. The bottom is made of natural rubber with a microfibre surface.

The peculiarity of this mat lies in the ability to let the person practicing be the one to decide on the desired level of adherence depending on the pressure exerted on the mat: it’ll be enough to push the mat to increase the grip or if needed, lighten the pressure to slide. In this way transitions between asanas will be eased and the type of practice will be decidedly more intense: your body will work with more awareness, as it will be you to decide when to have grip, not the mat!

The only caveat is that to be “activated” you need a minimum of humidity on your hands and feet (do not worry if when you’re cold you have no grip, you just need to warm up a bit to receive the wished grip).

The soft microfibre surface provides an excellent amount of softness, while the natural rubber bottom offers exceptional stability.

…for an even more natural feeling…

Cork Feel

Cork and natural rubber Yoga mat – Thickness 4mm

A great alternative to the Energy mat is the Cork FEEL, ideal for those who practice a dynamic style, sweat a lot, and want good stability on the ground while practicing on a completely natural surface. On the bottom, it is made of natural rubber while on top it has a layer of cork.

Similar to the Energy mat, using the Cork, you decide the desired level of adherence depending on the pressure exerted on the mat: it’ll be enough to put pressure on the mat to increase the grip or if needed, lighten the pressure to slide. In this way transitions between asanas will be eased and the type of practice will be decidedly more intense: your body will work with more awareness, as it will be you to decide when to have grip, not the mat!

For the best grip, a little moisture on the hands and feet is needed: normally after a couple of Sun Salutations, the required humidity is achieved!

The cork making up the upper surface of the mat provides exceptional grip, combined with the pleasant sensation of practicing on something completely natural, while the natural rubber bottom provides excellent stability.

…or as an alternative…

Grippy Boo

Bamboo Microfibre Yoga Towel

An exceptional alternative could be our Grippy Boo Yoga Towel combined with another mat: this way you can enjoy both the comfort of a thick mat (like our Free Soft) and the excellent grip offered by the Grippy Boo in case of sweating.

This non-slip bamboo microfibre yoga towel is ideal for those who practice a dynamic style: the microfibre, in fact, significantly increases adherence as sweating increases, preventing you from slipping. Also, in this case, the more pressure applied to the fabric, the more grip is achieved, similar to our Energy and Cork Yoga mats.

Grippy Boo was created as a towel to put on top of another mat when you start sweating, but thanks to the non-slip material that completely covers the bottom surface, Grippy Boo stays stable on the mat below. Being light and foldable, it is super easy to transport.

If you do Yoga at a Studio or Hotel where mats are already available, Grippy Boo could be laid on top of another mat: this way you achieve extra comfort, better grip, and better hygiene!
